The Alen T300 has four fan speed settings, a 12 hour timer and a filter replacement indicator that tells you when it’s time to change out the filters.

Other air filters that use the tower design use ionizers to charge particles which are then collected on metal plates.  The Alen T300 features the attractive tower design but uses EPA recommended filters and purifiers that don’t produce potentially harmful ozone the way the other ionizers do.

The average customer rating based on 111 reviews of this product was 4 1/2 stars out of 5. Many of the reviews are from people that have been suffering from allergies for many years that found a significant amount of relief from their symptoms after using the Alen A350 air purifier. One of the positive reviews is from someone who is allergic to cats and yet owns 13 of them and she reports being able to breathe through her nose for the first time in years.

It’s a user-friendly machine that is easy to operate and is very quiet on the first two speed settings. It’s considerably louder on settings three and four but some people choose to use the higher settings when they’re not home and then set the machine to a slower speed for quieter operation when they are at home. A lot of people also liked the fact that it can be mounted on the wall and it is less obtrusive and takes up less space than other air purifiers.

Some of the negative reviews were because of the noise level at the higher settings. There is a significant increase in volume from the lower settings to the higher settings. This machine is a bit pricey but not too many people commented on the price because it is actually a good quality machine. The only other negative reviews we could find other than the noise level at higher settings is from a few unlucky people that just happened to get a defective machine that broke down prematurely. If you purchase your A350 air purifier from a supplier with a good return policy you have nothing to worry about.

Our research suggests that although this machine is a bit expensive, sometimes you get what you pay for and in this case that would be a very high quality machine that does a very effective job of purifying the air and covers a large amount of square footage while also being energy efficient.
